The Chenango Canal Association is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) devoted to caring for the historic Chenango Canal and its surrounding waterways and landscapes. The team preserves structures and stories, supports research and maintenance, and keeps the canal welcoming as a community recreation corridor—one that’s also a designated year-round trout stream (artificial lures only) and part of the National Recreation Trails system..
